GRIT GUARD
A grit guard sits in the bottom of your wash bucket and helps keep dirt and grit trapped below the grate — instead of redepositing onto your mitt and back onto paint. It’s a small upgrade with a big effect on safer contact washing.
Pair it with a 5-gallon wash bucket and a two-bucket method: wash mitt in soapy water, rinse mitt in the grit-guarded rinse bucket, and keep abrasive particles where they belong.
What you’ll notice
- Separates grit — trapped dirt settles below the grate instead of back onto the mitt
- Safer contact wash — supports two-bucket technique and swirl reduction
- Simple upgrade — drops into a standard wash bucket
